These Terms & Conditions govern the rental of self-drive vehicles from Royal Fleet Rentals ("we", "us", "our"), operating from Vasco-da-Gama, South Goa, Goa - 403802. By booking or driving one of our vehicles you agree to these Terms. The person named on the rental agreement is responsible for the vehicle for the entire rental period.
The driver must meet the minimum age required by law and hold a valid driving licence (foreign nationals: a valid International Driving Permit together with the home-country licence). Only drivers named on the agreement may drive the vehicle.
A refundable security deposit is payable at handover; the amount varies by vehicle and is confirmed at booking. It is returned in full after the vehicle is inspected, less any amounts lawfully due for damage, missing fuel, traffic fines, late return or cleaning.
The vehicle is handed over with a recorded fuel level and must be returned with the same level; fuel used during the rental is at the renter's cost. Unless an "unlimited kilometres" plan is agreed in writing, standard plans may include a daily kilometre limit, with additional kilometres charged at the rate disclosed at booking.
The vehicle must not be used for racing, hire/reward carriage of passengers or goods, off-road driving beyond its capability, or any unlawful purpose. Inter-state travel is allowed only with prior notice so that entry permits can be arranged; permit costs are borne by the renter.
Vehicles carry insurance as required by law. The renter remains liable for damage or loss not covered by insurance — including the insurance excess, damage caused by negligence, and damage occurring while the vehicle is used in breach of these Terms.
Note any existing marks with us before driving away. In case of breakdown, accident or theft, inform us immediately on +91 80954 47174 and, for accidents/theft, file a police report. Do not admit liability to third parties. We will arrange roadside assistance or a replacement vehicle where reasonably possible.
Return the vehicle at the agreed time and place. Extensions must be confirmed with us in advance and are charged at the daily rate. Late returns without notice may be charged extra and affect the deposit refund. Cancellation terms are confirmed at booking.
